@Carl: I think he just wanted to have some fun. I stopped believing anything he said after 'Google merges with Microsoft'. God.

@Theron: Yeah. There's no use denying rapid changes are going to shift our perception of media and news dissemination. If the technology defines the means, then there's no seeing the end in all of this, since change in technology isn't going to be slowing down anytime soon.

The video seems to fail to consider that the current media is not stable, and probably never will be. With so many musicians, writers, artists, creators, stepping outside of the traditional third party operation, it wouldn't surprise me that the big media are getting nervous. But I don't see their attempts at modeocreation as being so flawlessly enacted toward an end goal of intellectual subjugation.

Knowledge integration and application, however, is exponential. Currently, chips are being designed that consider the use of light to transmit data at blazing speeds, and electron spin to help determine logical process outcomes. Once the light transimission of data exchange becomes multifrequencial, and the outsourcing of electron spin is combined with binary processes, the medium will again undergo a considerable shift, not only in expression, but in method of integration, collation, and calculation. (As published in Scientific American)

With the shift in knowledge application and understanding, one has to wonder, more significantly, when the machines will stop thinking for us, and start thinking for themselves.

The LOLcat Bible reminds me of the old SPAM bible. Oh, the memories.

I was digging the outlandish video predictions until companies start conglomerating and eventually one company seems to practically own the internet. He doesn't see this is a problem? Really?
