I do that too, Lee, so fret not. I think it's a good blogging habit, no? - people comment because they know you're going to respond.

I think Lowebrow's strengths lies in its showcase of good writing-related content. You find very good stuff, and I admit I drop by frequently when I'm running low on inspiration.

It's a different kind of quality, but it's quality nevertheless (I point to Kottke.org as an example here - he has your knack and his blog's lovely to read!)

Hi Eli, I'll give it a try ... though if I get too many more readers, I might have to suspend commenting. I like to answer everyone, and it's too time-consuming and distracting sometimes. A good displacement activity, however. (I'm really struggling with a chapter at the moment.)

Thanks for the kind words about my personal blog. I often wonder if it's a wasted effort, since it's neither proper criticism nor particularly insightful or exciting. Perhaps I should go ahead with my vague plans to write an erotic blog - literary, of course, heh!

@Kevin: That's a cute blog you've got there. I particularly like the green squiggle in your sidebar.

@srsuleski: *neighs in mock protest* ;P

@Lee: Join Stumbleupon and submit your stuff to the appropriate category (in this case, Writing). I think your Lowebrow blog is excellent stuff - very good Stumble material.

But I do think you'll need to wait awhile before anything comes out of it. The stumbleupon entry which lead to Novelr's spike was bookmarked 4-5 months before!

Outstanding.

I was Stumbleupon-ed about a week ago, but since my blog is very new and the content is stupid, no one stuck around. =)
