By all means, don't slog through all the crap. Just read every precious word I write. ;)

j/k - read enough to give a fair review.

Speaking of, I should probably get back to writing. My hiatus is going on 7 weeks and I'm out of excuses. Time to write!

It would be a little cruel to expect you guys to slog all the way through every bad story, and I think the subjective "read enough for a fair review" is the best way to go. So, keep doing whatcha do.
I think the fact that you're up front about the editor review process speaks well to it's fairness and legitimacy, and I'm glad it's not a "pay no attention to the man behind the curtain" situation.

What Chris said. The only thing you have to remember is that you'll have to provide a list of tags, a description, the tagline, and maybe a warning of unsuitable content. But besides that submission to WFG is open to any reader.

PS: I've submitted 13 Bullets, because I enjoyed that one myself.

Definitely interesting.

My main problem with WFG now is that there does not seem to be any way to add fiction other than author submission. I would love to see Dirty Red Kiss or 13 Bullets on WFG, but, frankly, I don't see their authors submitting them.

Any chance we could have some kind of user submission?

I personally believe that this is one of my weakest articles to date. No focus and no one clear idea. But I suppose that's only to be expected after 4 or so months of studying.

Can't believe no one's commented on this yet. Oh well. It's an amusing piece in my view at least.

I've never been so proud to be semi-professional.
