The American Library Association has put out a map of ebooks in U.S. Public Libraries:

Nationwide, 66 percent of public libraries report offering free access to e-books to library patrons – up from 38 percent three years ago.

It should be interesting to see this number go up – and then see what it means for free access in the near future.
