[Blook]: I have read half of the first arc of Omen of Chaos, and … well. Carlos is prolific and enthusiastic, and really dedicated to the story, but OoC is not something you’ll find in a bookstore anytime soon. I’m keen to see what he writes next, though: someone who writes so much can only get better and better at it.

I don’t know if you’ve looked at other self-publishing alternatives but I would BookLocker.com for someone who doesn’t need all the add-ons of XLibris.

BookLocker still looks too small (have you seen the covers?). I’d rather take Lulu, if given the choice. ISBN doesn’t cost much, and the marketplace looks quite well established, too boot.

Xlibris caught my eye only because of the Random House connection - goes to show even the traditional publishing houses are looking into printing on demand.

I published my mystery novel, PARK RIDGE, through BookLocker and had a great experience. I’m afraid I don’t know what you mean by the marketplace being well-established.
